Ⅰ．はじめに
精神薄弱児施設における聴力検査結果をみると正常児童に比し，聴力障害の頻度が多いようであつた。今回は，施設収容児と，正常学童との中間にある学校での聴力検査を行なったので，その結果を報告し，御参考に供したい。
Pure tone audiometry was carried out at the schools for the retardates. The following results were found. Hearing impairment has been found in 15 ears (4.6%) out of 328 ears. This incidence of hearing impairment lies between that of the normal subjects and of the institutionalized mentally retarded children.
