鼻咽腔に認められた下垂体腺癌の1例

　緒言

　耳鼻咽喉科において，臨床上対象とされる領域は，通常頭部および頸部に限られている関係上，鼻咽腔に悪性腫瘍が発生した患者において，しばしば頭蓋内，すなわち脳髄に転移あるいは浸潤を認める症例も少くない。ことに鼻咽腔癌腫あるいは上顎癌の末期において，著明に認められるようである。

　また頭蓋内に新生物が発生した結果，種々の症状，たとえば耳鳴，眩暈，頭痛，平衡障害等を訴えて，耳鼻咽喉科をおとずれる者も少くない。

A case of metastatic pappilomatous adeno-ma of the nasopharynx that originated from the pituitary body is reported. Instances wh-ere carcinoma of the nasopharynx cause me-tastasis into the cerebral cavity and visa versa where cranial cavity carcinoma into the nasopharynx are discussed with view points of pathological similarities and differences in such cases. However, no report in found in the lit erature where the instance is similar to the present one.
