S状洞の形態異常の1例

　I．緒言

　S状洞疾患についての報告の大多数は，頭蓋内合併症の一つであるS状洞血栓についてであり，之に関する発表は極めて多数にのぼつている。また解剖学的見地からみたS状洞の走行異常に関する報告もあるが，S状洞の形態異常に関する発表は極めて少いようである。我々はこの形態異常と思われる一例を経験したのでここに報告する。

A girl, aged 17, was operated upon to cure a chronic discharging right ear. When the mastoid was opened a malformed sigmoid sinuswas found that appeared to be at the first glance a vascular tumor, because of its exte-nsive course which reached close to the post-erior wall of the external canal. The patient made an uneventful recovery after the oper-ation.
