扁桃剔出後の口蓋垂形態の観察

　I．緒言

　扁桃剔出術に関しては，その手術適応，術式並びに術後の遠隔成績等は詳細に検討されているが，術後の局処変化の観察は少い。

　扁別後の局処の理想的治癒状態は扁桃床から扁桃を除去した状態であらねばならない。即ち口蓋弓は原位置にあり，扁桃洞も浅い陥凹となつて残存する場合である。

Statistics on uvula deformation following tonsillectomy are presented. Such deforma-tions of the uvula were found in 71 cases of 85 patient who were subjected to tonsillecto-my 83.5%. Deformation by medial measure-ment and length amounted to 52.1% ; lenght alone 33.8% and breadth alone by 14.1%.
