Candidaを分離せる萎縮性鼻炎の2例

　I．まえがき

　耳鼻科疾患に於けるCandida（以下C.と記す）の検出率について探索した際^1），萎縮性鼻炎5例中3例にC.が上気道各部より検出され，その臨床経過及び免疫血清学的所見を追求し得た2例を報告し，且つ抗黴性抗生物質等の使用によつて，C.の消長を観察して，上気道に於けるC.の常棲好発育部について再検討を加えた。

　In a search for candida infestation in the disease of the ear, nose and throat, it wasfound that 3 patients out of the 5 who were found to be affected with atrophic rhinitis presence of candida in the upper respitory tract. Present report on clinical and immunological studies is concerned with 2 cases of these 3. The effect of antimycotic and antibiotic agents towards elimination of candida infestation reevaluated.

　Trichomycin was chiefly used as antimycotic agent.

　The elimination of candida from the upper respiratory tract was quite readily realized excepting from such areas as the supratonsillar fossa, dental caries and epipharynx: the latter appeared to be the area where candida infestation is the most prominent in occurrence and the most difficult in elimination which, at times, may be almost an impossibility.

　The development of immunity as a general bodily reaction against candida appeared to be unrelated to clinical state in which the degree of the infestation may wax or wane
