萎縮性鼻炎に関する研究—第3報 萎縮性鼻炎と前頭洞の発育との関係

　I．緒言

　1911年Haikは50例のオツェナ患者に於て83％に副鼻腔の発育障害，特に前頭洞発育障害を認め之はオツェナの本態と関係があると述べている。Barth, Hは1938年33例の単純性萎縮性鼻炎及び49例のオツェナを調査し萎縮性鼻炎患者の前頭洞の発達が悪いが家族調査の結果前頭洞の気胞化の良否はオツェナの程度に関係がないと述べている。其他多くの人々に依り萎縮性鼻炎と副鼻腔の発育との関係が研究されており，大体副鼻腔は全般的に発育障害があり特に前頭洞に著しい事は一般に認められている。然し之が萎縮性鼻炎の発生と直接如何なる関係があるかに就ては現在尚詳びらかでない。1949年菱山は副鼻腔癌の調査に於て前頭洞の発育の悪い側に副鼻腔癌の発生が多いと述べている。何れにしても前頭洞の発育障害は鼻腔，副鼻腔疾患と何等かの関係を持ち易いのではないかと考えられる。今回吾々は萎縮性鼻炎20例に就て前頭洞発育との関係に就て観察を行つたので報告する。
