慢性中耳炎の手術と術後聴力に関する考察

　I．緒言

　慢性中耳炎の手術目的は何をおいても先ず炎症の根絶にある。従つて中耳伝音機構の一部或は大部分を犠牲にして初めて炎症の根治を望み得る場台もある。

　そこで，手術施行にあたりおこり得る伝音機構の破壊の中，いずれの部分の破壊がどの程度の聴力損失を招来するかを予め知つていれば，手術の徹底を期して而も聴力の損失を最少限に喰い止める為に頗る有利である。又近時耳鼻科医の最大の関心事である鼓室成形術においては，此の問題は本質的な意義をもつ。

The author summarizes the result of oper-ative treatment of chronic otitis media in 64 ears, in 54 patients, of whom he had treated. And the relation between the pathological disruption that may be observed in the cond-uction mechanism during the operatipn and the postoperative hearing recovery are noted. The question of selbst korrektur is also dis-cussed.
