若年者にみられた上顎洞骨線維腫の1例

　I．緒言

　上顎骨に発生する良性腫瘍は比較的稀有な疾患でその種類も主として骨腫，骨線維腫，線維腫等の名が挙げられている。外国の報告では1881年Born hauptの他Birch-Hirschfeld，Boenning-haus，Eckert-Möbiusが知られている。又一方本邦に於いては昭和14年神尾が骨腫の統計的観察をなし自験例を加えて23例を詳細に報告した。爾来上顎骨に発生した骨腫，骨線維腫の症例報告は約50例を数えるが上顎洞に発生した骨線維腫は数多くない。最近当院を訪れた8歳の女子に発育極めて迅速で上顎骨部分的切除の已むなきに至つた上顎洞骨線維腫の1例を経験したのでここに追加報告する。

　Osteofibroma of the maxilla, in a girl age 8, developed to the size of hen's egg within the period of 3 month after its first appearance. The enlargement and swelling occurred externally on the cheek and the hard palate within the mouth. The growth was removed by a partial resection of the maxilla and the deformity created therefor was corrected by prosthesis with the aid of a dental surgeon.
