所謂術後性精神病

　緒言

　術後性精神病は1916年Kleistによつて提唱されてから外科医の注目するところとなり，これに関する報告は屡々見られるようになつたが，我が耳鼻咽喉科領域では現今もなお稀有な合併症の1つとされておる。私は最近本症と思われる1症例に遭遇する機会を得たので，ここに其の概要を報告する次第である。

Hayashi reoprts a case of what appear to be a postoperative psychosis of a man,aged 23. Twenty three days following a radical mastoidectomy the patient became affected with hallucination and leaped from the second story window to the garden below.He sustai-ned a few minor fractures thereby but other-wise,the patient made an uneventful reco-very.
