慢性副鼻腔炎の豫防—發來防止策の提唱

　慢性副鼻腔炎の治療は非常に困難である。西端・鳥居・黑須其他の諸先輩の永年の研究や努力にかゝわらず，又最近の相つぐ化學療法劑・抗生物質の出現にもかゝわらず，本症は依然として難症である。手術が今の所最良の方法であるが，學識經驗の深い熟達せる術者が行い，患者のいやがる顏面皮切から入る方法を併用しても，100％に本症を治す事は出來ない。

　この難物を前にして著者が最近思う事は，「治療」が困難なら一應「豫防」を考えて見たらどうだろうかと云う事である。所が慢性副鼻腔炎の豫防に關しては，成書に殆ど記載がない。少くとも特別の章や節や項を設けて豫防法を論じある本を見た記憶がない。

In order to bring this matter home for public interest, it behooves the duty of every otolar-yngolists to take leadership in affording enli-ghtenment on the subject matter to parents, kidergarten and primary school teachers.
