1.緒論
眼球震盪の描写法は古くから色々と工夫され,実に多種多樣の方法が発表されて居る事は,例えばKuilman1)の報告を一つ見てもわかるのであるが,さて実際に行つて見ると仲々良い方法はないものである.動物に於ては観血的な手段で精密に測定する方法もあるが,勿論人間には應用出來ない.人間に使う方法は精密であると共に被檢者には何等の苦痛をも與えない方法でなければならない.從來の器械的方法では,之の二つの謂わば対立した要求を同時に充す事は殆ど不可能であつた.こゝに述べようとする電氣的描写法-電氣眼震図はその点で敢て理想的な描写方法だとは云わぬが,併し現在の所最も優れた方法であるとは断言出來る.我々は数年前より本描写法に関する基本的事項に就て檢索し,一部は既に発表したのであるが(鈴木2)3)),こゝでは主として本描写法の技術的な問頭に就て論じて見たいと思う.
Suzuki and Yamamuro discuss questions on electronystagmography with emphasis on various technical points involved in the subject. The apparatus essentiarly consists of a vacuum tube amplifier and an oscillcgraph but, ectrocardiograph with increased amplification scale several times larger than for ordinary use of the apparatus may be substituted for the present purpose. Depending upon the positions in which the teads may be placed oscillatory curve on the graph will necessarily differ. Most desirable records may be obtained be distributing the two leads in such a way as to place either one of them on either side of outer canthus of each eye, when graphing of horizontal movements is required and, below and above the eye when that is necessary of vertical ones. For rotatory nystagmus contact points with application of balloearing devise is attempted to be attempted to be accomplished. As the range of movements of nystagmus and of oscillation cubve on the graph is recorded by this method in constant proportions the possibility of deriving quantitative measurements on the range of movements in this condition is pertinently discussed.
