少女に見られたる上顎洞性鼻腔中咽腔ポリープの1例

　緒言

　最近12歳の一少女に発生せる相当巨大なる上顎洞性鼻腔中咽腔ポリープの1例を経驗せるを以て，こゝに一症例として從來の丈献に追加す．所謂上顎洞性後鼻孔ポリープなるものはさして珍らしきものに非ず．毎年数例の報告を見聞するものなるも，本例に於けるが如く，ポリープが中咽腔に迄及び且つ一側鼻腔をも全く密閉し，その硬度，不動性，外観等に於て一見鼻咽腔纖維腫を思わしむるが如きものは比較的珍らしきものなり．

Kato reports a case of nasal polyp of enorm-ous size, measuring 3.4 cm×5.5 cm after remo-val. It occurred in a girl, 12 years of age, who complained of nasalvoice and total impairment of breathing. Maxillary sinusitis required radical operation by Watsugi-Denker metnod. The polyp it found arising from the mucous membrade of this sinus with a pedunculated neck measuring 3.5 cm in length.
