眩暈を訴へし異常頭位眼球震盪患者に對する重曹注射

　緒言

　眩暈を主訴として外來を訪れた患者にて，異常頭位眼球震盪のあつた者に對し重曹注射せるに眩暈消失したので茲に報告す．

　異常頭位眼球震盪に就て1913年Baranyが多發性硬化症の1患者を右側頭位にて眼球震盪の起る事を認め，同年Rothfeldな家兎に急性アルコール中毒を起さして側方で眼球震盪の起るのを報告した．de Kleyn及びVersteeghは兩側迷路を破壞した動物では眼球震盪は起らないので，其の原因が迷路にあると考へた．

　By injecting 40cc. of 5% sodium bicarbonate solution intravenously on 4 cases of arterio sclerotics, 1 case of acute alcoholis with hypertension, and 1 case of typhoid fever, the author was able to relieve the symptoms in all with exception of the last case. This is a clinical verification of the theory advanced by Prof. Hasegawa. The author introduces references of articles relating to nystagmus on abnormal position of head.
