中耳炎及其合併症に對するペニシリン療法の小驗

緒言

　日本でペニシリンが比較的自由に使用し得るやうになつてからもう1年以上にもなるし，事實多數の専門家がペを使用してゐるやうでもあるのに，學會での報告は案外にも少くて，昨春（昭和22年）の總會で大澤氏が數例の經驗を報告せられた他は，極めて斷片的なもののやうである．それで私共は今春の總會で，少數乍らも教室の經驗例を取纒めて其概要だけを簡單に報告して置いた．本文はそれを若干補綴したものである．

　ペの使用法は筋注，靜注，動注，局所應用等があるが，私共は局所使用の經驗は殆んど持つてゐない．（細田氏其他2.3の報告では中耳腟内への局所使用も卓効があると云はれてゐるが）．

Authors discuss the effect of Penicilin on oti-tis media and its complications and derived the following conclusions,:

1. Penicillin therapy cured otitis media but it was ineffective torwards meniugitis

2. Intra-arterial injeceien of penicilin into car-otid artery was more effective than introduction into cerebro-spinal canal.

3. Per oral administration of sulfadiazine was found to be effective towards otitis media when penicilin had faild; in employment of the two nemedia, it was better to use one as a time, inst-eab of the two together.

4. Meningitis of nasal origin following opera-tion was cured by intra-arterial injectin of peni- cillin into the carotid artery.

5. The use of pencillin is not altogether with-out danger; authors warn against its pronis-ccens use e and blind deupevdeuce.
