A Case of Vacuolated Meningioma

I．はじめに

　Meningiomaは髄膜に発生する腫瘍で，特定の組織学的entityを意味するわけではなく，多くの組織分類の試みがある．今回variantの一つとして考えられている極めて稀なvacuolated meningiomaの症例を経験したので神経放射線学的所見および病理組織学的所見を中心に，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A rare case of falx meningioma with extensive vacuolization was reported.

A 57-year-old woman was admitted to Okayama Uni-versity Hospital because of numbness in her left lower limb. A plain CT scan showed a hypodense mass in the right frontal region with marked enhancement after contrast medium injection. MRI on T1 weighted images showed low intense mass with the so-called "peritumor-al band" of low intensity at the periphery of the mass. Angiogram showed a mass effect and a tumor stain fed by the right pericallosal artery and left middle meninge-al artery. The mass was excised en bloc.
