I．はじめに

　髄膜腫は本来良性腫瘍であり，手術で全摘出すれば治癒しうる腫瘍であるが，肉眼的に全摘出し得た場合でも約9％に局所再発をみるとされており^11），また，腫瘍の発生部位によっては全摘出できないことが少なからずあり，臨床的には必ずしも良性腫瘍とはいいがたい面も多多ある．特にangioblastic meningiomaは他のtypeに比して悪性の病態を示すことが多く，その動態には注意を要する．髄膜腫の頭蓋外転移は全髄膜腫の0.1％^12）とも0.6％^5）ともいわれ，本症例も含めてこれまでに80例しか報告されておらず，極めて稀といえる．

　発症から7年の経過で組織学的に悪性度が増加し，局所再発を認めないにもかかわらず脊椎を中心に全身の骨に多発性転移をきたした症例を経験したので報告する．

A case of angioblastic meningioma with multiple metastases to the vertebra and the adjacent bones is presented.

A 60-year-old man was admitted to our hospital com-plaining of pain in the left arm, right chest and abdo-minal wall, the left buttock, and on the posterior sur-face of the both legs. He had first undergone subtotal removal of tentorial meningioma eight years before admission. Histological diagnosis of angioblastic meningioma was confirmed.
