I．はじめに

　Flanagan^4）により1966年はじめてヌードマウスの報告がなされ，1968年Pantelouris^6）によって，このヌードマウスが胸腺欠如動物であることがわかった．そして1969年RygaardとPovlsen^8）によって，ヒト癌のヌードマウスへの移植が成功した．

　これ以来，ヒト癌の研究にこのヌードマウスを用いる実験が多くみられるようになった．中枢神経系以外のヒト腫瘍についてはヌード動物への移植の報告は数多くみられる．しかし，ヒト脳腫瘍についてはまだ必ずしも多いとはいえない．

Xenotransplantation of human carcinoma into nudemice is being carried out for various studies, rangingfrom carcinogenesis to treatment. However, so faras the human brain tumor is concerned, research bytransplantation is not fully sufficient yet. The authorsstarted the experiment with the aim of establishing aline of successive generations of transplantation intonude mice, in which human brain tumors have beentransplanted.

In this paper, we would like to report on a part ofthe study, which consists of the morphological changesof the xenograft of brain tumors with the passage oftime.
