Ⅰ．はじめに

　硬膜動静脈奇形は，近年注目を浴びており，その成因ならびに治療法に関し種々の検討がなされている．

　今回われわれは，29歳の女性で脳虚血発作にて発症し，脳血管撮影にて後頭蓋窩硬膜動静脈奇形を認め，対症療法のみで経過観察を行っていたところ，2年1カ月後の脳血管撮影では動静脈奇形がほぼ完全に消失していた症例を経験した．この様な硬膜動静脈奇形のいわゆる自然治癒に関しては文献上われわれの知り得た限りでは2例の報告をみるのみであり，若干の考察と共に本症例を報告する．

A 29-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital because of dizziness, nausea and convulsive seizure. She complained of left sided tinnitus. Neurological examination revealed right homonymous hemianopsia, and systolic murmur on the left retroauricular area. Angiograms revealed a dural AVM in the left posterior fossa. Feeders of AVM were enlarged left occipital artery and middle meningeal artery.

Since then she was treated only conservatively, but angiograms performed two years and one month later showed disappearance of tne dural AVM. She experienced no head trauma, and no subarachnoidal hemorrhage.
