臨床脳波の各種のコンピュータ解析

A general survey of the several methods of computer analysis of clinical electroenccphalograph.

はじめに

　人の脳波の諸性質については，Berger，H.（1924）^12）以来，その基礎的研究はもちろん，その臨床的意味についても，正常人および各種疾患における特殊な波形，意識変化に伴う変化や薬物の影響など広範な領域での研究が行なわれてきた。こうした中で脳波データをくわしく計測しようとする試みは，脳波研究の比較的初期から行なわれてきている^{2,25,42,44,68）}。

　その理由の一つとしては，従来の脳波診断が，脳波の振幅や周波数，さらには波形をもっぱら視察的に経験的かつ主観的に，しかも主要な所見のみについて抽出して認知するという方法をとっていることへの反省があげられる。脳波で得られた情報を定量化し，正常・異常などの範囲を計測的に明確化し，診断に客観性を持たせることを目指している。

There are several reasons to apply the analysis methods to the electroencephalographic examination. The first reason is the lack of information on the standard values of the waves for the differentiation between normality and abnormality of the electroencephalogram. Another is the increasing needs to simplifying the EEG diagnosis and making it more comprehensive to the clinician.
