 1. In the cerebellum, hemorrhage occurs predominantly in the dentate nucleus and its neighboring areas; while infarction in the cortical as well as subcortical portion of the hemispheres.

 In general, prognosis of the patients with cerebellar hemorrhage who had showed neocerebellar syndrome was good. Diagnosis of massive cerebellar hemorrhage was occasionally difficult. However, a combination of the head rotation to the side of the lesions with concomitant horizontal eye deviations to the contralateral, is an important clue to diagnose massive cerebellar hemorrhage on clinical grounds.
