　この御発表は筋無力症の臨床を考える時に見逃されてきた興味ある問題を提起されております。

　1）重症筋無力症と内分泌異常の関係を考える時，視床下部―下垂体軸と密接な副腎，性腺，甲状腺が主として注目されてきました。これに対して下垂体の支配を受けない内分泌腺は比較的等閑に付されてきた傾向があります。ただわずかに唾液腺ホルモンが臨床的に用いられていたにすぎません。

　This paper suggests several interesting aspects in myasthenia gravis.

　1) In the past several decades the relationships between myasthenia gravis and hypothalamo-hypophyseal axes such as gonad, thyroid and adrenal glands were studied extensively. On the contrary, the endocrine glands uncontrolled by hypothalamohypophyseal system escaped researchers' notice, except for several works upon the influence of salivary gland extract on the course of myasthenia gravis.
