  • Abstract

An 88-year-old woman sent to our hospital because of asymptomatic macrohematuria. An X-ray of the abdomen revealed a massive bladder stone measured 6.5×6.0×6.Ocm in size. The stone, which was impacted to the urethra, could not be moved to the bladder with a metal bougie. As the general condition of the patient was poor for vesicolithotomy, cystostomy formation was performed. Later, the stone migrated to the bladder. Then, under local anesthesia, endoscopic stone disintegration was performed with Lithoclast®. It took 130 minutes for the operation.
