膀胱移行乳頭腫(TP)とGrade 1膀胱移行上皮癌(TCC)を鑑別する目的でイメージサイトメトリーにより両者の腫瘍細胞の核内DNA量を測定し,ploidy patternを決定した。対象は経尿道的膀胱腫瘍切除術(TUR-Bt)を施行し病理組織学的にTPと診断された4例,Grade 1 TCCと診断された15例とした。TPでは4例全例がdiploid patternを示し,Grade 1 TCCでは15例中7例(46.7%)がnon-diploid patternを示した。本測定法による腫瘍細胞の核内DNA量の測定は,H.E.標本のみでは診断の困難なTPの補助的な診断法になり得ると考えられた。
We performed image cytometric DNA analysis of transi-tional cell papilloma (TP) and Grade 1 transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) of the urinary bladder to define DNA ploidy pattern in order to differentiate TP from TCC. Four TP and 15 TCC obtained by transurethral resection of blad-der tumor were analyzed. Nuclear DNA content of all samples were measured by image cytometer and ploidy pattern were determined by DNA histogram. Of all 4 TP, non-diploid pattern were not recognized while shown in 7 out of 15 (46.7%) TCC.
