帯状疱疹による尿閉

A CASE OF URINARY RETENTION IN A JUVENILE PATIENT SECONDARY TO HERPES ZOSTER

　29歳男性。主訴は排尿困難。保存的治療を行ったが，第7病日に完全尿閉となり入院した。入院時現症にて右臀部に有痛性の集簇する水疱性皮疹を，また髄液検査にて単核細胞の増加などの異常を認めた。以上より帯状疱疹による神経因性膀胱と診断し，アシクロビルおよびステロイド剤の投与を行った。第15病日には正常の排尿状態に回復した。

We present a case of urinary retention secondary to herpes zoster in the distribution of the fourth and fifth sacral dermatomes in a 29-year-old man. Cell count of spinal fluid was increased. S^4-5 hypalgesia was observed. A Foley catheter was left indwelling due to urinary reten-tion, and acyclovir and corticosteroid were administered. Disturbance of urination completely improved 8 days later.
