尿閉を契機として発見された卵巣腫瘍

URINARY RETENTION CAUSED BY OVARIAN TUMOR

　患者は62歳，女性。尿閉を主訴として救急受診した。導尿後も下腹部の膨隆を認め，腹部CTにて．骨盤内に巨大な嚢腫様腫瘤を認めた。卵巣腫瘍が疑われたので産婦人科へ転科となった。精査の結果，卵巣腫瘍の術前診断にて同摘除術を施行し，病理組織診断は卵巣漿液性嚢胞腺腫であった。術後，排尿障害は改善した。

A case of serous cystic adenoma of left ovary and subsequent urinary retention occurring in a 62-year-old woman is presented. The patient was treated with an indwelling Foley catheter until removal of the tumor. And then she was able to void with no difficulty. This is the seventh report of urinary retention caused by ovarian mass lesion in Japan.
