38歳，男性。左腰部痛を主訴に来院した。DIP,CTにて下大静脈後尿管を伴った馬蹄鉄腎および左尿管結石と診断した。左尿管結石は自然排石し，症状は消失した。下大静脈後尿管，馬蹄鉄腎については現在のところ合併症もなく，経過観察中である。自験列はきわめてまれな疾患で本邦3例目，世界で9例目と思われる。
A 38-year old man presented with a chief complaint of left flank pain. An excretory urogram and acomputerized tomogram showed a left ureteral stone and a horseshoe kidney with retrocaval ureter. Afterspontaneous passage of the left ureteral stone his symptom disappeared. The patient was kept underobservation, because of no complications of the horseshoe kidney with retrocaval ureter. Only 9 similar casesincluding the present case have been reported in the world literature so far.
