煩渇多飲症にみられた巨大膀胱の1例

A CASE OF LARGE BLADDER ASSOCIATED WITH POLYDIPSIA

　50歳，男性．主訴は腹部膨満．超音波断層検査で拡張した膀胱との疑いがもたれた．導尿したころ5000CCの尿が得られ，形態学的な尿路の狭窄および閉塞を伴わない膀胱の異常拡張であった．精神分裂病の病勢悪化に伴って出現した著しい多尿と，原疾患の治療に用いた薬剤による排尿障害が深く関与したと思われた．

A 50-year-old man came to our hospital complaining of abdominal distension. Ultrasound examination showed highly enlarged urinary bladder containing 5,000 ml of urine, without urinary stenosis or obstruction. Severe polydipsia owing to the schizophrenia and urinary disturbance owing to the drugs used for the schizophrenia were thought to cause the enlargement of the urinary bladder.
