コンピューターグラフィックスによる腎，肋骨，体表の三次元表示—腎癌の手術計画への応用

THREE-DIMENTIONAL COMPUTER IMAGE DISPLAYS OF KIDNEY, RIBS AND BODY SURFACE: SIMULATION FOR RENAL SURGERY

　コンピューターグラフィックスの医学への応用として，CT画像をもとに，腎癌の腎摘出術の手術計画のシミュレーションを目的として，4症例につき，腎，肋骨，体表の三次元表示を行った。三次元表示された腎の画像は，摘出された腎と対比してみると，実際の形状にかなり近い像が得られることが示された。また，術前に三次元表示を行いえた症例では，手術の際，三次元表示で示されたとおりに腎が露出され，三次元表示の手術計画のシミュレーションとしての有用性が示された。

Nowadays,the three-dimentional computer graphics image displays of various organs are utilized in the medical field.For the purpose of diagnosis,irradiation therapy and simulation for surgical operation,the three-dimentional image displays were carried out using multislice images of X-ray CT,MRI and ultrasonography.To obtain simulation for renal surgery,we studied the three-dimentional image displays of kidney,ribs and body surface using X-ray CT images.The three-dimentional image display of body surface was constructed by the wire frame method,while that of kidney and ribs was done by the surface method.
