後腹膜悪性線維性組織球腫

A CASE OF RETROPERITONEAL MALIGNANT FIBROUS HISTIOCYTOMA

　症例は66歳男性。主訴は右側腹部痛。X線診断にて右後腹膜腫瘍の診断を得て，右腎および右後腹膜腫瘍摘除術を施行。悪性線維性組織球腫の病理診断を得て，術後放射線療法を施行し略治退院した。術後18ヵ月後に局所再発を認め，化学療法を施行したところ，7ヵ月間の部分寛解を得たが，腫瘍の再燃化を認め，再度，化学療法を試みるも効果なく死亡した。

A 66-year-old male was admitted with complaint of right flank pain. Radiographic examination revealed right retroperitoneal tumor. Extirpation of both right kidney and right retroperitoneal tumor was done followed by irradiation therapy. 18 Months later, local recurrence occurred, and combination chemotherapy was started. The patient achieved a partial response of 7 months' duration thereafter. Though the tumor relapsed again and chemotherapy was tried, he died without any tumor decrease in size.
