自己導尿カテーテル用消毒薬剤の検討

EFFECT OF 1% POVIDONE-IODINE FOR DISINFECTANT OF SELF-CATHETERIZATION KIT

　自己導尿カテーテル消毒液として10％ポビドンヨード液を使用した1983年8月以前は導尿患者39例中8例に尿道炎，うち4例に尿道狭窄の合併を経験した。ポビドンヨードの粘膜刺激性が原因と考えられるため，殺菌効果を持続させ，かつ粘膜を刺激しない至適濃度はどうかを検討した。自己導尿症例に見られたアシネトバクター，黄色ブドウ球菌大腸菌，肺炎桿菌，緑膿菌，セラチアなどの殺菌には0.05％以上の濃度が必要であることが分つたので，自己導尿臨床上の特殊性を勘案し1％ポビドンヨードグリセリン液を用いることにしたところ，1983年9月から1986年12月までの症例では全例に尿道炎の発生を認めず1％液の有用性を確認した。

We studied disinfectant effect of Povidone-iodine solution with various concentration for the five species of bacteria which were popular pathogens among patients with neurogenic bladder in our center. No bacterial growth was noted in 1% and 0. 1% Povidone-iodine with or without glycerin while bacte-rial growth was evident in 0. 05%, 0. 01% and 0. 001% of the solution. We have used 1 % Povidone-iodine glycerin as for disinfectant of self-catheterization kit and no bacterial contamination was confirmed in three weeks continuous use of this solution.
