後腹膜神経鞘腫の1例

A CASE OF RETROPERITONEAL SCHWANNOMA

　50歳，女性。1981年1月，子宮筋腫の手術時後腹膜腫瘍を指摘された。CTスキャンでは，右腸腰筋の前方に周囲との境界明瞭で，内容不均一なdensityの低い腫瘍が認められた。後腹膜腫瘍の診断にて手術施行。摘出された腫瘍は17×17×20cm，重量1,170gで，組織学的にはAntoni A型とB型の混在した良性神経鞘腫であつた。後腹膜神経鞘腫の本邦報告例は自験例を含め，良性119例，悪性57例が報告されている。

The patient was a 50 year-old female. Her tumor was found incidentally, when she underwent a hysterectomy for myoma of the uterus. CT scan showed that the tumor was multilobular and located in the retroperitoneal cavity in front of the right psoas muscle. Histological diagnosis was benign schwan-noma of two different types, Antoni A and B. Schwannoma is exceeding rare among the retroperitoneal tumors and the preoperative diagnosis of schwannoma is extremely difficult. Therefore final diagnosis is made by histopathological examination after operation.
