　泌尿器科領域におけるDigital Subtraction Angiography　（DSA）を1983年以来62例経験し，そのほとんどに診断上の有用性を認めた。DSAは経静脈的DSAと経動脈的DSAに大別される。前者の特徴は造影剤を静注するだけの少ない侵襲で動脈造影が得られる点や，上下大静脈に同時にカテーテルを挿入し造影剤を注入することで，明瞭な大静脈および右心房造影が得られる点にある。また後者の特徴は少量の造影剤，低い注入圧で動脈造影が得られる点にある。しかし一方，画質の劣化が起こりやすい点や，1回の造影範囲が狭い点など欠点もいくつか見られる。

　今回われわれは診断上有用であつたと思われた症例をあげ，泌尿器科領域におけるDSAの有用性の検討を行つた。

Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) is commonly used for image diagnosis in many areas recently and becomes one of the indispensable installation in urological area. Here we present several cases that we think DSA was useful for diagnosis, and discuss the merits of DSA. Intravenous DSA (IVDSA) and intraarterial DSA (IADSA) were obtained. IVDSA had merit of ability to have arteriography, such as renal arteriography, only by giving the contrast medium intravenously. As there was only small invasion to patient compared with usual method, it was possible to carry out this examination for outpatient.
