緒言
睾丸回転症は，精索の捻転による睾丸の血行障害から壊死を起こす疾患である。本症は思春期に多いとされてきたが，近年新生児例の報告が増加している1,2）。今回，われわれは新生児睾丸回転症の1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。
A 10-day-old male was pointed out a left intrascrotal swelling at birth. Surgical exploration revealed extravaginal torsion of the spermatic cord. The testicle appeared necrotic and left orchiectomy was performed. Orchidopexy of the contralateral testicle was not done. Histolog ical examination showed hemorrhagic necrosis of the testicle. Forty-seven cases of testicular torsion in the newborns including our case from Japanese literature were reviewed and discussed.
