下大静脈切除を要した右腎細胞癌の1例

SUCCESSFUL REMOVAL OF A RENAL CELL CARCINOMA INVADING THE INFERIOR VENA CAVA:A CASE REPORT

緒言

　腎細胞癌が下大静脈まで浸潤して腫瘍栓塞を形成することは稀ではなく，諸家の報告^1〜6）によるとその頻度は5〜10％である。最近われわれは下大静脈切除を要した右腎細胞癌の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 50-year-old man was admitted with a complaint of gross hematuria. Roentogenographic examina-tion revealed a right renal tumor with tumor embolus extending into the inferior vena cava approxi-mately 7 cm above renal vein, and had no evidence of distant metastasis. Radical nephrectomy and vena caval resection were performed. Tumor weighed 1360 g. Histopathologic diagnosis was clear cell carcinoma. Postoperative chemotherapy with 5 mg vinblastine once a week for 10 weeks was performed. Three months after operation there is no evidence of recurrence and metastasis.
