Evoked responses of the bulbocavernosus reflex (evoked BCR) were recorded in 26 normal men andin 23 male patients with spinal cord injury. Square wave stimuli were applied to the penis and res-ponses were recorded over the anal sphincters by surface electrodes. The average response to 50~150 stimuli was recorded using computer averager and the latency time was measured. In spinal cord injury patients, ice water test, cystometry and urethral pressure profile were examined at the same time.
