前立腺癌，stage B2およびCにおける骨盤内リンパ節廓清の意義

PELVIC LYMPHADENECTOMY FOR STAGE B2 AND C CARCINOMA OF THE PROSTATE

緒言

　前立腺癌の骨盤内リンパ節廓清の目的は，第1に術前診断の確認，第2にリンパ節廓清そのものの治療効果にあるが，第2点に関してはいまだ結論を得ていない。

　近年著者らは，限局性前立腺癌と診断された6症例に骨盤内リンパ節廓清を試み，5例にリンパ節廓清術を，残りの1例に総腸骨リンパ節生検を施行した。この手術経験のうち診断手段としての本手術の成績，つまり著者らの術前臨床診断が真に当を得ていたかという点と，手術手技および術後管理に関して若干の文献的考察とともに報告する。

The purpose of pelvic lymphadenectomy for prostatic cancer is to confirm the preoperative diagnosis and for therapeutic value. Regarding this second point, no conclusion is as yet reached.

In 6 cases of prostatic cancer, 5 stage C and 1 stage B₂ at the Department of Urology of St. Luke's International Hospital, pelvic lymphadenectomy was done in 5 cases. Biopsy of the right common iliac lymphnode was carried out in a case where the invasion of pelvic structure and enlargement of the lymphnodes were confirmed during the operation.
