陰嚢内に原発した平滑筋肉腫（Leiomyosarcoma）の1例

INTRASCROTAL LEIOMYOSARCOMA:A CASE REPORT

緒言

　正副睾丸あるいは精索にまつたく関係なく陰嚢内に原発する腫瘍（陰嚢内腫瘍）は非常に稀である。われわれは陰嚢内腫瘍の1例を経験したので報告する。

A case of primary intrascrotal leiomyosarcoma was reported. The patient was a 48-year old male who complained of painless swelling of the scrotal content. The scrotum was gradually enlarged to the size of a softball.

Surgery was performed under a diagnosis of the left testicular tumor and the left intrascrotal mass with surrounding fatty tissue was removed. Left orchiectomy was not done because of grossly normal appearance of the testis and epididymis. The tumor measured 11×8×4 cm and cut surface was pale yellow in color. The histological diagnosis was leiomyosarcoma.
