L型腎の1例

A CASE OF "L" SHAPED KIDNEY

緒言

　腎奇形にはいろいろな型を呈するものがあり，その中でも融合性交叉性腎変位はAbeshouse^1）（1959）によれば，6型に分類し，L型腎（"L"shaped kidney）を含めている。これは極めてまれな奇形の1つであるといわれている。

　最近，われわれは62歳，男子で，L型腎の1例を経験したので，本邦報告例について自験例を含めL型・逆L型腎の24例を集計し若干の統計的観察を試み，ここに報告する。

A 62-year old male, with complaints of difficulty on voiding and lumbago, was found to have a "L" shaped kidney. Renal function tests were normal and lumbago was of slight degree, therefore, surgical intervention was not intended. Twenty four cases of "L" shaped kidney including our case have been reported in Japan. Several discussions and analyses were briefly made.
