前立腺癌の抗男性ホルモン療法の予後ならびに統計的観察

PROGNOSIS OF ANTIANDROGENIC THERAPY AND STATISTICAL OBSERVATIONS IN PROSTATIC CARCINOMA

緒言

　本邦における前立腺癌発生頻度は，欧米のそれに比し極めて低いといわれているが，近年，平均寿命の延長ならびに診断技術の向上に伴い増加の傾向を示しており，前立腺癌は前立腺肥大症とともに老人病として重要な疾患となつている。

　今回，日本医科大学附属第一病院泌尿器科において40例の前立腺癌患者を集計しえたので，これらにつき抗男性ホルモン療法の予後ならびに統計的観察を試み，ここに報告する。

Statistical studies on the prognosis of anti-androgen treatment for 40 cases of prostatic carcinoma from the department of urology of the First Hospital of Nihon Medical School, were done.

The age incidence were between 51 and 85 but the majority were older than 70.

The chief complaints were dysuria, small urinary stream and frequent urination but only 12.1% showed symptoms from metastatic lesions. 18.9% had metastasis at first visit and the majority or 62.1% were bony metastasis and 20.7% showed metastasis to the lymphatic system.
