後腹膜悪性線維性組織球腫（Myxoid Variant）の1例

A CASE OF RETROPERITONEAL MYXOID VARIANT OF MALIGNANT FIBROUS HISTIOCYTOMA

緒言

　1976年Weiss＆Enzinger^1）は悪性線維性組織球腫（malignant fibrous histiocytoma，以下MFHと略記することあり）のうちmyxoid componentの多いものをmyxoid variantとして分離することを提唱した。われわれは後腹膜に原発したMFHのmyxoid variantの1例を経験したので報告する。

A 64-year-old male was admitted in mid-October, 1976, complaining of lower abdominal mass which was palpated as a hard, smooth-surfaced, clearly demarcated, child's head-sized tumor.

On November11,1976, the laparotomy was performed and a tumor was found in retroperitoneum of the pelvic cavity, and a 950 g tumor was removed. But about a month postoperatively, a hen's egg-sized induration was palpated in the left lower quadrant. The diagnosis of recurrence of the tumor was made and on January 12,1977, an 84 g tumor existing between obliquus internus abdominis muscle and transversus abdominis muscle, was removed.
