小児尿管ポリープの1例

URETERAL POLYP IN CHILD:A CASE REPORT

緒言

　尿管腫瘍のうち非上皮性のいわゆる尿管ポリープは集め得た範囲では現在までに92例が報告されている。しかし，小児例はきわめて稀で2例の報告^1,2）をみるのみである（第3表）。

　今回，われわれは小児尿管ポリープ，すなわち14歳男子に発生した結石を伴わない尿管ポリープの症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A rare case of ureteral polyp in a 14-year old boy was presented. He was admitted to our clinic for left flank pain and gross hematuria. Urographic examinations demonstrated filling defect in the left ureter at the level of the third vertebral column and marked hydronephrosis. Segmental ureterectomywith end-to-end anastomosis was performed. Microscopic examinations of the excised tumor revealed a fibroepitherial polyp with secondary inflammation. Excretory urography taken 6 months after the operation showed mild improvement in the function of the left kidney.
