前立腺癌202例の治療成績の検討

CLINICAL STUDY OF 202 PATIENTS WITH PROSTATE CARCINOMA

　1966年から1993年までの28年間に札幌医科大学泌尿器科で経験した前立腺癌202例を，診断法および治療内容に変化がみられ始めた1985年で前期と後期に分け，これらの臨床成績を比較検討した。後期は前期に比べ早期癌症例の割合が増加した。内分泌療法を施行した前期臨床病期B症例の5年生存率は79％であり，根治的前立腺摘除術を施行した後期臨床病期B症例の5年生存率は92％であった。臨床病期D症例の生存率は，治療内容の変遷にもかかわらず，前・後期で差を認めなかった。以上より，手術適応とならない進行癌に対する新たな治療法が必要と考えられた。

Two hundred and two cases of prostate cancer were diagnosed at the Sapporo Medical University Hospital for 28 years from 1966 through 1993. The cases were sub-divided into 2 groups; cases diagnosed from 1966 to 1984 and cases diagnosed from 1985 to 1993, because diagnostic and treatment methods began to change in 1985. We compared the clinical results between the two groups.
