緒言
従来,わが国においては痛風は稀な疾患と考えられていたが,最近では決して少なくなく,むしろ年々増加の傾向にある。
食生活の改善,診断知識の向上などがその大きな理由としてあげられる。
Case is a 52 year old male, who had been treated for chronic nephritis with high blood pressure (230-130 mm/hg) in the medical out-patient clinic since 1960.
Right renal stone was pointed out in 1969 but was discharged soon after and high blood pressure and renal failure was pointed out. Sudden fever and lumbago was noticed in December, 1971 and was treated with various antibiotics for the diagnosis of acute pyelonephritis, with no effect. Oliguria occurred about the 24th of December and was refferred to the urological clinic for uremia. Laboratory data revealed BUN 94, uric acid 12.0mg/dl and potasium 6.0 mEq/l.
