Ⅰ．緒言

　原発性尿管癌は，年々，その報告例が増加し，現在では，もはや，稀な疾患とはいい難い。しかし，診断的には，比較的難しい尿路腫瘍のため，誤診率が高い部類に入る。最近，我々は，2例の原発性尿管癌を経験した。以下，その臨床経過を報告し，同時に，北山^1）ら（1962）の本邦69例の報告以後，2系統に分裂した集計報告を整理，統合し，自験例を加えた，総計231例の，統計的観察を行ないたいと思う。

Since the first case of primary carcinoma of the ureter in the Japanese literature was reported by Ito in 1935, it has been increasing recently. Two cases of primary carcinoma of the ureter were reported and statistical survey of 231 cases, reported in Japan ever since, was done. Case 1 is a 78 year old woman who visited our clinic with the chief complaint of hematuria and right flank pain. Case 2 is a 64 year old man with hematuria and dysuria as chief complaint. In both cases, total nephrouretere-ctomy and partial cystectomy was performed. The histopathological findings revealed papillary transitio-nal cell carcinoma.
