副睾丸平滑筋腫—腫瘍摘除を行なつた1例

LEIOMYOMA OF THE EPIDIDYMIS

緒言

　副睾丸平滑筋腫は比較的稀な腫瘍である。腫瘤は尾部に好発するため副睾丸結核と診断されることが多く，手術も副睾丸摘除術または除睾術が行なわれる。

　われわれは最近術前副睾丸腫瘍と診断し，腫瘍摘除術のみで治癒せしめた1例を経験したので報告する。

A case of leiomyoma of epididymis, which is considered as a rather rare condition, was reported.

Patient is a 34 year old male who visited our clinic with the chief complaint of painless mass of left scrotum. A soybean-sized round mass continuous to the tail of left epididymis was noticed. The surface was smooth with no tenderness and the border was clear but no adhesion to the skin was noticed. Other urogenital organs showed no abnormality and laboratory examinations were within normal limits.
