はじめに

　遊走腎の組織学的所見については，すでにいくつかの報告^1〜3）がみられるが，遊走腎の定義自体に未だあいまいな点があり^4〜7），組織学的変化の特長といつたものは認められていない。著者らは少なくとも立位で2椎体以上腎の下垂を認め，疼痛などの遊走腎によると思われる主訴を持つ患者の腎組織について検討した。

The histological studies on renal tissue from 10 female cases with floating kidney complaining lumbago were reported. Remarkable interstitial cell infiltration was noticed in all of the cases but this finding seems to have no direct relation with renal function nor blood pressure and the majority showed negative urine culture.
