Ⅰ．緒言

　陰嚢内に発生する腫瘍の中で睾丸，睾丸被膜，副睾丸および精索と全く無関係の腫瘍（以下陰嚢内腫瘍と称する）はまれである。陰嚢内良性腫瘍の報告例は通常血管腫，脂肪腫，上皮腫，嚢腫であり，筋腫あるいは線維筋腫の報告例は極めてまれである。

　われわれは最近陰嚢内線維筋腫の1手術例を経験したので報告する。

A case of intrascrotal, extratesticular fibroleiomyoma in a 79 year old retired Japanese male was reported.

Past history and family history were noncontributory. The patient had noticed a painless, gradually enlarging tumor in his scrotum for the past 3 years. Operative removal was done on October 23, 1967. The tumor was well-defined, dumbbell-shaped with one pole (12 by 9 by 7cm) in the left side of the scrotum larger than the other (4 by 3 by 3cm) which was found in the left side of the prostate. The intermediate portion was at the left side of urethra and measured 4cm. in length and 0.7cm. in diameter.
