Ⅰ．緒言

　従来より悪性腫瘍患者で，しばしば高Ca血症を示すことが知られている。多くの症例では，広汎な骨転移を伴つているが，骨転移は全く認められず，副甲状腺も正常である症例もみられている。この発生機序に関しては，なお定説をみていないが，最近異所性ホルモン産生腫瘍という考え方が注目されてきている^20）21）。我々もこのような見地にたら，高Ca血症を伴つた悪性腫瘍は，腫瘍より副甲状腺ホルモン様物質が産生されているのではないかと考えている。最近我々は高Ca血症を伴つた悪性腫瘍を2例経験した。これらの高Ca血症の原因を推定するために，副甲状腺機能検査を行ない，また1例において，尿中および腫瘍中の副甲状腺ホルモン様物質の活性を測定したので報告する。

Two cases of hypercalcemia associated with carcinoma of the urinary tract, one of the ureter and the other being renal carcinoma, were presented. Parathyroid adenoma or bony metastasis was not discovered in both cases. The cause of hypercalcemia were not able to be clarified by the laboratory datas.

Parathyroid hormon activity of the urine and tissue of the renal carcinoma was estimated by bioassay, using parathyroidectomized rats, and showed slight elevation. The mechanisms of hypercalcemia associated with malignant diseases were discussed and production of hormon like substance from tumor cells were postulated.
