Glucosaccharo 1・4, 3・6 dilactone長期服用の膀胱癌患者にみられた肝重量の減少

REDUCTION OF LIVER WEIGHT IN TWO CASES OF BLADDER CANCER TREATED WITH GLUCOSACCHARO 1･4, 3･6 DILACTONE FOR LONG TERM

Ⅰ．緒言

　動物実験的には担癌状態の肝酵素の性質には種々の異常が認められ，また臨床的にも癌と肝機能との密接な関係が推測されている。

　われわれはGlucosaccharo 1・4, 3・6 dilactoneを死亡直前まで相当長期にわたり連続服用していた膀胱癌患者2例の剖検時に，その肝重量が著明に減少していることをつづけて経験した。そこで癌死亡例における肝重量はどうなつているか，かかる肝重量の減少は日常診療に行なう肝機能検査にどのような異常をおこしてくるか，また肝重量減少をおこす原因は何かという点を中心にして考察を試みた。

Necropsy in two cases of bladder cancer revealed reduction of liver weight, one being 820g, another 850g. Histopathological findings common in these two cases, were portal fibrosis.

Total doses of glucosaccharo 1･4, 3･6 dilactone administrated untill just before their death, were 387g for 205 days and 485g for 255 days.

Statistical survey of 640 necropsy cases showed that reduction of liver weight in cancer patients were rather infrequent.

In 1966 and 1967, Takayasu et al. has reported the reduction in size or the disappearance of bladder cancer by local injections of glucosaccharo 1･4 lactone sodium salt.
