陰囊内平滑筋腫の1例

A case of intrascrotal leiomyoma

　症例は62歳，男性。陰囊内に無痛性の硬結を自覚し，来院した。総鞘膜に小豆大の硬結を触知し，局所麻酔下に摘出した。摘出標本は直径6mmの平滑筋腫であった。陰囊内平滑筋腫は稀で，自験例は本邦44例目と思われた。

　A 62-year-old male was admitted to our hospital with the chief complaint of a painless mass of the right scrotal contents. Physical examination revealed a firm, elastic, round mass, smaller than 1cm in diameter, separated from the testis and the epididymis. The mass, a 6mm in diameter, was surgically removed easily. It was histopathologically diagnosed as leiomyoma arising from the tunica vaginalis. This is the 44th case of intrascrotal leiomyoma reported in the literature in Japan.（Rinsho Hinyokika 57：443-445, 2003）
